Footwear focus
November 12, 2008
There are two notable additions to the footwear department at sixwhitingstreet.com in November.
There is nothing cooler when it comes to footwear, and trainers in particular, than retro trainers with a real essence of British Heritage.  Walsh footwear was established in 1961 in Bolton by Norman Walsh, who had previous experience of manufacturing hand sewn running shoes for British Olympians.  The brand is back with avengance and has kept its original styles making for trainer collectors heaven.

Shoefolk has teamed up with kidrobot to produce a one off, ultra limited edition shoe. A modification of the alaric ’smart trainer’ with grey suede upper, cobalt blue sole and colourful kidrobot branding on the back is a must have this winter… Especially considering how exclusive it is with only 100 available worldwide and 40 in the UK.
