Puma By Rudolf Dassler
Rudolf Dassler is the heart
of Puma. Founded in 1948,
Dassler registered the first
Puma logo picturing a puma
leaping through a letter ‘D’.
The brand quickly became one
of the leading sportswear
labels and is still at the
cutting edge of sportswear
design and styling today.
That original logo is
undergoing a revival with the
Rudolf Dassler Schuhfabrik
collection – a collection that
puts the focus firmly back on
the original heritage of the
company and Rudolf’s iconic
first designs nearly 60 years
earlier. Puma relaunched the
Rudolf Dassler branded
footwear collection in 2003 in
collaboration with Alexander
van Slobbe and brought design
classics such as the sprint
logo back to the mainstream.
The result is a 21st Century
collection with a heritage and
history that places it firmly
at the top of the classics
leader board. The look is
uniquely Puma and combines
exceptional quality and
cutting edge production
technology with a timeless
flair and style. |
